What are the system requirements for this website?

We have worked very hard to make Utah Sports TV as accessible as possible. You can access your courses on PC, Mac, desktops, laptops, Android, and iOS devices. Below are our specific system requirements for each of these devices.

Minimum System Requirements

No matter the device you are using, you will need these minimum requirements:
  • An updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera web browsers.
  • A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 5Mbit or 800kbps.
Note: Flash Player is not required

PC Specific Requirements

Please make sure that your PC, whether it is a desktop or laptop, meet the following requirements:
  • A Windows 8 or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed
  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound

Mac Specific Requirements

Please make sure that your Mac, whether it is a desktop or laptop, meet the following requirements:
  • A Mac OS X 10.12 or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed
  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound

Please make sure that your mobile devices meet the following requirements:
  • Android 6.0 or higher operating system
  • iOS 12.0 or higher operating system
Note: We do not yet have an app for mobile devices, but we hope to have one in the future.

Why is the video not playing?

If you are having trouble accessing any of your schools videos, please try the below fixes to resolve the issue. If you are still having trouble, please feel free to contact us. We will walk you through these steps again just to make sure that everything on your end is correct. If there is still a problem, we will escalate your case to get your issues resolved as soon as possible.

Do you meet the minimum system requirements?

To start, please make sure that your internet connection and device meet our minimum requirements. Please make sure you are using a supported browser. For more detail, please see our related FAQ: What are the system requirements for this website?

Is it your system environment or the video content causing the problem?

To check if it is your device, settings, or internet connection causing the problem, there are a few things to do.
  1. See if you can watch or download material from another school.
    Note: If you can watch another video, please call or email us to open a support ticket.
  2. Clear your browser's cookies and cache and restart it before trying to watch videos.
    • Do this by going into your browser's internet settings.
    • Make sure you are using an updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera web browsers.
    • Close any excess tabs that are open.
  3. Turn off your popup blocker browser settings.
    • The browser popup blocker may be blocking the ability to play the video.
    • Go to settings in your browser to add Utah Sports TV to the approved website list
  4. Try watching or downloading the video from an incognito window
    Note: If the video plays without issue, check your extension, plugin or firewall program on your device to see if it needs to be reconfigured or disabled.
  5. Try a different browser.
    • Make sure you are using an updated version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera web browsers.
  6. Test your internet speed to make sure it is 5Mbit or 800kps.
  7. If you are using an old PC or Firefox, turn off any hardware acceleration you have installed.
  8. Restart your computer, router, switches, and modems.

How do I register or create an account?

It is very simple to create or register an account on Utah Sports TV.

  1. Click on the Account tab and then on the Register account button. See Figure 1 below.

  2. Enter your information including your first name, last name, preferred email, and a long and strong password. Once information is filled in click the Register button.

  3. After clicking Register, you will be redirected to the Log in page. Enter your email and password and then click the Sign in button.

  4. You will be immediately redirected to the My Account page. There should be a green bar that says, “Successfully created a new account!” This is the final step in registering a new account.

How much of my donation goes to the school program I choose to donate to?

100% of your donation, minus the credit card transaction fee, goes to the school of your choosing.

How do I donate to a school’s sport’s program?

After you have registered, it is easy to donate to the school of your choice. 100% of your donation, minus the transaction fee, goes to the school sports program of your choosing.
  1. Click on the School button on the homepage. This will take you to a list of schools that are affiliated with our program.

  2. Click on the School Icon that you would like to donate to. Schools are listed in alphabetical order.

  3. On the school page of your choice, click the donate button.

  4. Complete the Donation form. Make sure to select your school from the drop down list. Click on the Review and Pay button.

  5. Review that all your information is correct. Please double check that you have the correct school selected. Then enter your create card information and press the Submit Payment button.
